Can business execs be techies

Mark Raskino, Gartner has an interesting post.He talks about the increasing number of reports where IT professionals are required to be business oriented. Well, there has been a lot of hype around that. The geeks seemed to be agitated. They seem to be coming heavily on the business executives by coining a term "bizzies" with reference to biz execs. "Can business executives claim to be tech savvy?" Well, we all know the vapour ware they create, don't we? With technology changing rapidly, it'll be interesting to see who wins - bizzies or techies?
